Maja diving at the sea lion colony on a Tec 40 training dive.

Laurent and the dogs at our "private" beach in Pichilingue. You can only get there by boat and there's never anybody there.

We are still waiting for the guys to finish the work on the teak deck and a few other things, but the boat is looking better every day.
It is also getting hotter by the day, and there's less wind.
We take the dogs to the beach every afternoon, they too are suffering from the heat and very happy to go swimming.

new saloon

Our new chart table, Laurent's design. We have a lot more space in the pilothouse saloon now.

About 2 weeks ago we found this little puppy in the drive- in coffee shop in Centenario, where somebody had left her to die. She was very skinny and dirty, and would not even come close to us at first. We went there to feed her for some days, then took her to the dog refuge to have her vaccinated and cleaned up.
We have agreed to foster her until we can find a home for her, so now she is also living on the boat with us. We have named her Mocca.
She is the sweetest little dog, and Touline is very
happy to have a playmate.

We also had a new propeller installed, the old one was in a very bad condition. It was probably 30 years old.
This is how the bottom of the boat looks now.
Here you see the boat on land in Marina Palmar. They did a good job, but it took them forever to finish the work.

The boat was finally put in the water yesterday, after almost 2 weeks of delays.
Almost all the work is completed, now only the bimini is missing and a few little details on the paint job.
Today we sailed back to Marina Palmira, everything worked well and we arrived with no problems at all.
We are very happy to be back on the boat, and look forward to go cruising in a week or so.
